Jet Airways increases frequency to Mumbai and Delhi from Dubai

Jet Airways, India’s leading private sector airline, recently announced that from March 1, 2016, they will launch a sixth daily flight from Dubai to Mumbai, departing from Dubai at 11:10 am and from Mumbai at 7:05 am. With the introduction of the additional frequency, the airline claims that it now offers the maximum number of flights, between the two key cities.

They intend launching a third daily flight between Dubai and Delhi also, from March 27, 2016. The new flight will depart at 5:40 am from Delhi and at 2:25 am from Dubai. With the introduction of these additional frequencies, Jet Airways will not be operating a total of 11 daily flights between Dubai and India, which includes their daily services to Kochi and Mangaluru, as well.

While announcing the additional frequencies, Mr. Shakir Kantawala, Vice President of Gulf, ME & NA said, “Introducing these additional frequencies are consistent with our approach to expansion, which relies on the strength of network planning, across the globe.” He further explained that, “The added capacity will also help enhance tourism between the two countries.”
